Leroy Burks, a proud native of the salt flats in Rockport, Texas, discovered his love for performing at a young age, shining in lead roles during high school musicals and earning All-State Choir Honors. Though he received a full scholarship to pursue Performing Arts, Leroy chose a different path and enlisted in the United States Army in 2004, serving honorably for 21 years before retiring as a combat veteran in 2025.
As a published songwriter with Big Matador Records, Leroy has charmed audiences across the state and shared the stage with beloved artists like Toby Keith, Jelly Roll, Zach Bryan, and Confederate Railroad. His band was honored as "Best Band of Prince William County" in 2024 and won the title again in 2025, a testament to their remarkable talent and dedication.
With a warm blend of Country and Rock, Leroy’s music resonates deeply with his fans. He showcased his impressive vocal skills by winning the 2006 Military Idol competition and has written over 40 songs that can be found on popular guitar tab websites.
