Eddie Callan, known as "Fast Eddie," embarked on his musical journey after signing with National Artist Corp in 1973. His wide-eyed enthusiasm led him into a world of travel and collaboration with seasoned musicians, shaping him into the performer he is today.

Relocating to Maryland in the early '70s, Eddie was part of various regional acts, including "Whiskey Springs," "Eternity," and "The So-What Band." His career took off as he joined expanded regional groups like "Straight Shooter" and "Major Danger Band," culminating in his role with "The Roadducks" in 1985. This band offered him numerous opportunities to tour the country, leading to performances with renowned national acts such as Delbert McClinton, Warren Haynes, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Gregg Allman and Friends throughout the '90s and into 2014.

Eddie also contributed to regional favorites like "The Phat Katz" and "The Nightcrawlers," where he was a founding member and frontman, covering classics from Boston, Kansas, and REO Speedwagon, all while maintaining a close connection with the Allman Brothers Band.

His impressive collaborations include performances with the Reggie Wayne Morris Band, recognized as one of the top living blues legends and inducted into the Maryland Entertainment Hall of Fame. After reuniting with The Roadducks for tribute tours, Eddie formed his own successful project, "Gypsi Souls Band," in 2021.

As of mid-2025, Eddie is excited to fill the keyboard position in the energetic "Leroy Burks & The Voodoo Whiskey Band," bringing his passion for Country and Southern Rock to audiences everywhere.
